Hello ...
from my couch in Philly ...
my backyard in Southern California ...
or my front yard deck in the Bay Area ...
but always near my dog and cat
After a career in academia and the health sciences, Beth pursued her first love: writing.
Beth's first published piece was an academic article in in the Journal of Advanced Nursing. She then went on to complete her Master's degree in Journalism at Harvard and published numerous stories in Philadelphia publications. While at Harvard, her interest in returning to creative writing was sparked. It was then that she realized she preferred the freedom of creative writing over the regimented styles of academia and journalism.
Drawing from her experience and rich background in research, Beth is dedicated to

creating authenticity in her police procedural mysteries. She also strives to present meaningful, contemporary themes that ignite and provoke thought.

Reflecting back to the words of one of her earliest writing instructors: “Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t be what you want to be. Don’t let anyone talk you out of your dreams,” she has embarked on this new journey and completed her debut novel.

When she's not writing, Beth enjoys doing pottery and spending time with her amazing rescue pup, Maddie, and Pippin, the annoyingly affectionate rescue cat.
